Happy Monday!

Hi gang!
This week, you will begin the Home Learning that Mrs. Leger and I have planned for you. We have put together a "learning menu" for you to choose activities from to complete each day. Complete as many as you can! I also encourage you to read each day for 30 minutes, practice basic math +/- facts, and explore the links to many games and videos on the website. It is also very important to get at least 30 minutes of physical activity each and every day! I hope you all enjoyed a nice Easter over the weekend with your families, even though it felt a little different this year. I usually have a big dinner with all of my extended family, but this year we had a quiet turkey dinner at home. It was a great day! I would love to hear what you have been up to. I miss you all so much! See the Learning Menu under the 'At Home Learning' Tab each week. Have fun learning! :) Mrs. King Hi Grade 3!
How are you? I just wanted to say "hello" and that I miss you all so much! Last week we learned that we may not be returning to school this year. This was sad news for everyone. Mrs. Leger and I are currently working on a learning plan for you to do at home. Stay tuned for more updates this week. Please remember that your number one priority during this time is keeping yourself healthy and happy! For now, check out this fun April Calendar. I challenge you to complete one activity each day! It's a beautiful day to get outside! How was your weekend? Mine was great. I baked chocolate chip cookies and played outside with Cohen, Greyson and Connor. Drop a comment below to tell me about what you did! I miss all of your stories! Have a great week, and remember... Stay Home and Stay Safe! Mrs. King Hello 3 King families!
Welcome to our class website. I hope to provide your child with many positive learning experiences in a fun and interactive environment. This is my weebly space which essentially will keep you engaged, informed, and involved with your child's learning. It will be updated each week for online learning and activities. Most importantly, please remember these activities are completely optional. Today I wanted to share with you some fun math games you can play with a deck of cards. I know so many of you loved to play Addition War in class. Here are some new ones for you! Remember to keep up with your reading this week, too. Have fun, and check back often :) Mrs. King |
